Celebrate the cultures, creativity and connections that make Kingston a great place to be! Join us for the Intercultural Arts Festival on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Confederation Park.
Featuring:
- Welcoming 55 new Canadian citizens at the annual Citizenship Ceremony at City Hall.
- A temporary installation of ‘IN BETWiN: Stories of Kingston’s Immigrants’ by Sergio Jaua in Memorial Hall. The exhibition is a series of portraits that celebrates diverse voices of immigrants in the community that form our shared story.
- Live music and dance performances on the main stage
- Cultural pavilions showcasing traditions, art and heritage from diverse communities.
- Arts and craft vendors featuring unique handmade goods
- International cuisine from a variety of cultures
- Booths featuring local services and organizations that support newcomers to Kingston
Admission is free and everyone is welcome!
