Hailing from Valemount and Vancouver, Kings of Yam are planted firmly at the interchange of new and old, urban and rural, serious and satire. This genre-fluid duo writes songs about particular people, places and things with attention to meticulous details and forays into banality and various niche interests, which include lifestyle, nostalgia and of course a shared love of subtropical root vegetables
Free event supported by the fabulous Neighborhood Small Grants. However, limited seating means tickets are required and the ticket link will go live soon!
