Come see drag kings of biblical proportions!
About this Event
Hello sinners! King of Kings: A Sacrilegious Drag King Competition is back for its third installation. The theme this year is Leviticus. King of Kings is a competition designed for drag kings and things featuring sacrilege. All religious identities (or lack thereof) are welcome. This is an opportunity for you, the audience, to witness these kings in all of their glory and heal your religious trauma through the power of drag.
Leviticus is the only book in the bible that contains two (probably mistranslated) homophobic verses that people still use to oppress the LGBTQIA+ community today. We invite you to reconsider and reject the hate and bear witness to powerful art.
