A family workshop exploring movement, balance, and sculptural forms inspired by the natural world.Create kinetic sculptures inspired by the shapes and movements of plant life. Drawing from Inheritors of Earth, families observe seeds, leaves, stems, and other botanical forms, looking closely at their structures, rhythms, and movement.Using paper as their primary material, participants experiment with folding, bending, joining, and balancing to create simple kinetic sculptures. Through hands-on making, they explore how forms found in nature can be transformed into three-dimensional structures that respond to movement and space.Designed as an intergenerational experience, Kinetic Forms encourages curiosity, experimentation, and creative problem-solving while introducing participants to abstraction, sculpture, and material exploration through playful making. While you're here, explore KNMA's ongoing exhibitions Inheritors of Earth and In-Rhythm.Bringing families together through making and shared discovery, the programme offers a creative way to experience the museum and enjoy art in Delhi, near Saket.
