Fancy a cosy festive evening doing something a little different?
Join us for a relaxed Kimekomi Christmas Bauble Workshop with Natacha from Naxa Designs, and create your own beautiful handmade decorations to take home.
Kimekomi is a traditional Japanese craft using fabric to create intricate decorative designs. Natacha will guide you through the process step by step, so no previous experience is needed.
During the workshop you will learn how to:
- Choose and combine fabrics, colours and patterns
- Create the traditional Kimekomi grooves
- Tuck and secure your fabric neatly
- Finish your baubles with cord, ribbon and embellishments
You will leave with 2-3 handmade Christmas baubles, perfect for your own tree or as thoughtful handmade gifts.
Your ticket includes:
- A 2-2.5 hour guided workshop
- All materials and equipment
- 2-3 baubles to take home
- A festive mincemeat crumble and hot drink
You are also welcome to bring a favourite piece of lightweight fabric if you would like to use something personal in your design.
