KIMBERBELL EVENT “hello pumpkin”Date: October 12th

Class Description:
A Kimberbell’s one-day machine embroidery event that we will extend into two days for people who need more time. You will make four darling autumn projects: Stitch two Acorn Plushies, then make a Pumpkin Jar Wrap with quilting on the ribbon ties. The Hello Pumpkin Screen is stitched on a mesh screen and comes with five extra sentiments for later. With a variety of new techniques, Hello Pumpkin is where machine embroiderers gather for friendship and fun!

What to Bring: Embroidery machine, hoops (5x7 & 8x12), bobbins (two filled with bobbin embroidery thread and five empty bobbins), sewing tools and a lunch or money for lunch. You may bring your own thread or use our Floriani Thread. Glide Thread colors: Thyme (60557), Tidewater (65483), Soldier Green (60574), Spice Brown (27582), Medium Brown (20464), Light Burgundy (70202), Marmalade (57579), Dijon (21245), Linen (10WG1), and White (1000). Floriani similar colors: Green Patio (2025), Seafrost (201), Slate Blue (342), Walnut Taffy (562), Off White (730), African Safari (844), Harvest Brown (745), Burgundy (194), Burant Orange (755), and Lamp Light (850).
In the Hello Pumpkin Kimberbell Event, you will learn the following Embroidery Skills and Techniques:
• Using your Embroidery Machine
• Working on the back of the hoop
• Fabric applique
• Using placement lines
• Using Flexi Foam
• Making a plushie
• Background Quilting on Ribbons
• In-the-hoop project
• Stitching on mesh screen
• Applique on mesh screen
And many Embroidery tips & tricks.
