KIKK × MUTEK PRESENTS: SARAH DAVACHI (CA) — LIVE ORGAN CONCERTOn Saturday, October 24, KIKK Festival joins forces with MUTEK, CAV&MA and Les Orgues de Saint-Loup for a very special concert in one of Namur’s most spectacular historic churches.
For this unique performance, Canadian composer Sarah Davachi, a leading figure in contemporary experimental and minimalist music, will take over the magnificent, recently restored organ of Saint-Loup Church.
Known for her deeply immersive compositions, Davachi explores the subtle relationships between sound, time, harmony and resonance. Drawing inspiration from early music, historical tuning systems and minimalism, she creates slowly evolving sonic landscapes that invite audiences to experience music differently.
For this concert, she will perform new works from her latest album, The Will of Tongues (Late Music, August 2026), alongside selected pieces from The Head as Form’d in the Crier’s Choir (2024).
An extraordinary opportunity to discover her music in an intimate and breathtaking architectural setting, where the acoustics of the church become an integral part of the experience.
