Three songwriters. Three distinct voices. One night built around great songs and the stories behind them.Kierston White is an Americana artist from Norman, Oklahoma, and no stranger to The Blue Door stage. First inspired to pick up the guitar by her brother Bryon White of the Damn Quails, Kierston went on to develop a voice and songwriting style distinctly her own. Cutting her teeth in Oklahoma listening rooms and music haunts—including The Blue Door and Norman’s Deli—she has grown into a thoughtful, engaging songwriter steeped in the rich musical community around her.
Mac Leaphart brings sharp songwriting, wit, and plenty of road-earned perspective to the mix. His 2021 album Music City Joke landed in the Top 40 on the Americana charts and earned spots on nearly a dozen year-end “best of” lists. An award-winning songwriter and seasoned performer, Mac knows his way around a story—and how to turn one into a song worth remembering.
Justin Clyde Williams writes songs that feel lived-in. Whether armed with a flattop guitar or backed by a full band, he takes listeners through stories of life, love, hard miles, and the experiences that connect us no matter where we call home. His music is personal without losing sight of the universal—the kind of songwriting that invites you to find a little of your own story inside his.
Put these three together in a listening room and you have exactly the kind of night The Blue Door was made for.
Join us for Kierston White, Mac Leaphart & Justin Clyde Williams—an evening of songs, stories, laughter, and three terrific songwriters doing what they do best.
