About this Event
What is the Kids Choir?
Come join our weekly fun-filled session of singing, creativity and learning at The Glad Foundation’s Kids Choir!
The GLAD Kids Choir is a fun weekly singing group, led by our friendly leaders, Sarah and Katie. Together we explore the joys of singing - be it through learning fun songs, harmonies and actions; playing rhythm games; or exploring creativity and songwriting together. It all culminates in a short informal performance for friends and family at the end of the term. It's a brilliant way to discover the joy of making music with others, and to foster creative confidence!
Who’s this for?
All primary school children are welcome: no experience is needed and all abilities welcome! At The Glad Foundation, we believe in creating a safe, fun and inclusive space, where every child can be themselves.
We are very flexible and adapt our activities and songs to the children in the group at the time, making sure we are accessible and fun, whilst aiming to provide challenge and opportunities for growth to everyone.

More Information
Our children's choir is a fun and welcoming space for primary school kids, based in Glasgow’s Southside. It's been bringing joy to children and families for over 10 years!
Singing in a choir can help build confidence, improve listening and communication skills, giving children a strong sense of belonging. These all support their well-being at school, at home, and in our wider community. The Glad Foundation is a registered community charity working in the Southside of Glasgow to bring creative music experiences to all. More information at www.thegladfoundation.co.uk.
