About this Event
The Mauch Chunk Museum & Cultural Center is hosting a Kids' Pumpkin Painting Contest on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm! Kids are welcome to come in their Halloween costumes and can choose their own pumpkin and design. Each pumpkin is $5 and painting supplies will be provided.
•This is a children only pumpkin painting contest. For adults who wish to participate, there will be an Adult Pumpkin Carving Night the following weekend.
•CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN AT ALL TIMES
HOW WILL THE PUMPKINS BE JUDGED?
Each one will be entered into 2 contests!
•Silliest
•Spookiest
•Cutest
1 2 winners (3 in each age bracket)
•Ages 2-5
•Ages 6-9
•Ages 10-13
•Ages 14-17
1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall creativity.
*Each painted pumpkin will be photographed and entered into the 2 contests.
Winners will be selected, announced and contacted by 10/31/26 to receive prize*
