About this Event
Plein air painting is the practice of creating finished artworks outdoors, "in the open air" as the French term suggests. It involves painting in direct contact with nature, capturing the essence of a scene in its natural light and atmosphere.
In this fun art class, kids will create Plein air painting on farm grounds, inspired by the animals, gardens and landscape around them!
Participants will be led by artist Michele Hankin and will have the opportunity to paint what inspires them most on the farm grounds. Participants will have the option to choose to display their art work at a show during one of our Saturday Farm Stands and take their painting home after.
This class is for kids ages 6 -11 and participants should bring a smock or wear clothes they don't mind getting messy.
