About this Event

Whether your child is just beginning their artistic journey or already loves to create, our weekly guided classes provide a supportive environment where they can learn, experiment, and build their artistic skills. Children will explore drawing, painting, clay, and mixed media while learning fundamental techniques and developing their creativity and imagination. Each week features a new project, giving young artists the opportunity to discover different materials, techniques, and ways to express their ideas.

Class Schedule

Every Saturday (Year-Round)

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Pencil Drawing

I draw alongside the children while guiding them through each project with step-by-step instructions. Through this process, they learn the fundamentals of drawing, including basic principles, techniques, composition, and observation.

We explore a variety of subjects, including animals, landscapes, and still life. When drawing animals, we incorporate learning about the animal itself—where it lives, its natural environment, diet, lifespan, and other interesting facts.

When working on landscapes, we discuss composition, format, perspective, and the different textures and techniques that can be used to create depth and atmosphere. This approach combines art education with learning about the world around us.

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Painting

I paint alongside the children, guiding them step by step and demonstrating where to begin. They learn color blending, painting techniques, and basic artistic principles while still having the freedom to express their own creativity. Children are encouraged to experiment with different colors, add their own details, and make personal creative choices within each project.

Each week introduces a new project, with themes and techniques changing throughout the year. Depending on the season, holidays, or specific months, we also incorporate mixed media, clay, and other art forms to provide children with a variety of creative experiences.

1) Drawing pad

2) Black Pencil

3) Eraser

4) Waterproof Zipper Pouch(to put their art materials when the come to class)
