From age 8+ – only 6 places available at The Functional Foodie Cookery School near St Mellion in S.E. Cornwall.One of the biggest gifts you can give your child is the ability to cook economically, deliciously and confidently from scratch.
Part 1 – Jump In – begins this Autumn term with 4 sessions that teach a range of skills, dishes and food knowledge, building into a comprehensive education over the term, and the year, in what and how to cook healthily and deliciously, for life. Nutrition and healthy eating are naturally part of the instruction.
Over the course of the term, and the school year, children can develop into confident cooks, savvy shoppers and discerning eaters with a grasp of where food comes from, what is healthy, and how to use it.
Autumn 2026 – Jump In:
* Breakfasts – Thursday September 24th – 6 – 8 pm
* Main meals – Thursday October 8th – 6 – 8 pm
* Snacks & desserts – Thursday October 22nd – 6 – 8 pm
* Baking – Thursday November 12th – 6 – 8 pm
These are booked as a course of 4 sessions.
