Join us in this festive, hands-on 2-hour cake decorating class designed for young bakers eager to build their skills. This seasonal class guides kids through the complete process of creating their very own edible Frankenstein Monster—from base-coating the cake to piping textured hair and sculpting facial features from fondant.

What Your Child Will Learn
- Cake Coating Fundamentals: Learn how to handle an offset spatula and icing smoother to apply and level a smooth buttercream finish.
- Fondant Sculpting Basics: Master rolling, cutting, and assembling white and black fondant to create eyeballs, a nose, and neck bolts.
- Advanced Piping Techniques: Understand how to switch pastry bag tips using a coupler and pipe "hair" textures alongside line work for scars and smiles.
- A Spooky Take-Home Feast: Celebrate their hard work by bringing home a fully decorated, custom creation to share with family.
Class Schedule
- Introduction (15 mins): Welcome, instructor introduction, and access to snacks and beverages.
- Covering the Cake (30 mins): Students get hands-on with a turntable, applying a base layer of green buttercream, and smoothing out the sides.
- Filling the Piping Bag (10 mins): Students will learn how to fill a piping bag and use a coupler.
- Break (10 mins): Leg stretch and beverage refills at the refreshment station
- Making Eyeballs & Features (15 mins): Concetta will walk students through the process of using fondant to create Frankenstein’s eyes and bolts.
- Details & Assembly (30 mins): After learning the basics of how to hold a piping bag, students will pipe hair, a mouth, a nose, and stitches, followed by adding our fondant eyes and bolts.
- Pictures & Pack Up (10 mins): Students can take photos at our photo stations and have their cakes boxed on their way out.
Amenities Included
- Refreshments: Access to a snack counter including drinks, snacks, and a Keurig coffee station for the adults.
- Tools & Equipment: Individual stations equipped with class aprons and all necessary decorating tools, including turn tables and spatulas.
- 6” Cake: Each student will go home with the cake prepared in class
Special Notes & Recommendations
- Adult supervision: ​Every child must be accompanied by an adult - each ticket includes a seat for one child and one adult (one cake to decorate)
- Age: This class is recommended for children ages 6-12
- Staining of Clothes: The colored frosting may stain clothes so although we provide aprons, we suggest dressing your child appropriately
- Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE! If you are unable to attend the class, you may transfer the ticket to another person. Tickets are not transferable to another class.
- Doors will open 10 minutes before listed class start time. Groups wishing to grab seats together are encouraged to arrive when doors open, otherwise we cannot guarantee reserved seating regardless if tickets were purchased together or not.
