Description
A simple straight stitch is all kids need to create this fun Halloween project!
In this beginner-friendly sewing class, kids will:
Watch a step-by-step sewing demonstration
Learn how to work with felt, foam, and cotton
Make their own Halloween bat headband to take home
All materials are provided, and fabrics and project pieces will be precut so kids can spend more time sewing, creating, and having fun.
No previous sewing experience is required.
Kids will leave with new sewing skills, a handmade Halloween headband, and plenty of ideas and inspiration for creating even more Halloween projects at home.
Ages: 7–15 (accompanying adult required)
Supplies
All materials and tools are provided.
We have five sewing machines and one serger available for participants. If you have your own sewing machine, you're welcome to bring it so you can learn on your own equipment.

Instructor
Meet your instructor, Shirin Delsooz of HAVAH Designs—a creative entrepreneur in fashion design and a stay-at-home mom who homeschools her two children. With a background in communications, Shirin is dedicated to making fashion accessible, fun, and inspiring for everyone. She creates digital sewing patterns, produces step-by-step YouTube tutorials, and even designs 3D-printed purses, bringing a modern approach to DIY fashion.
