Kidpreneur Workshop: Entrepreneurship TrainingThursdays, November 5th - 19th, December 3rd - 10th (Thanksgiving week off), 5:30-7:30 PM

Have you ever dreamed of starting your own business? In this hands-on five-week entrepreneurship course, students will learn what it takes to turn an idea into a real business!
Designed specifically for young entrepreneurs, this course will take students through the process of creating their own business from the ground up. They'll explore business ideas, identify their ideal customers, develop a brand, learn how to price products for profit, create marketing materials, practice customer service, and prepare for a future opportunity to sell their products at a kids' marketplace.
Over five weeks, students will:
Develop and refine a business idea
Create a business name, logo, and brand
Learn the basics of budgeting, pricing, revenue, and profit
Identify their target customer
Create marketing and promotional materials
Learn effective customer service and communication
Practice an elevator pitch
Design a professional market display
Track inventory and set business goals
Participate in a mock marketplace to prepare for the real thing
Students will leave with the foundation of their own mini business, practical financial and entrepreneurial skills, and the confidence to share their ideas with others.
This class is taught by Zoe Long, owner of Threads of Learning Academy and an experienced small-business owner. In addition to running her own businesses, Zoe holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and loves helping young people turn their creativity and ideas into something they can be proud of.
The course will culminate in a mock marketplace, preparing students for a future Kids Entrepreneur Market where they will have the opportunity to sell their creations.
