Kid-Friendly Portland LIVE brings our Kid-Friendly Portland Guide to life for a day. Meet the local businesses and organizations Greater Portland families love, try something new, catch a show, and let the kids play. All free.
What's happening
- Live performances and appearances all day featuring local favorites like Mr. Drew & His Animals Too and Slugger the Sea Dog. The full lineup will be shared as the event gets closer. Register, sign up for updates, or follow @realmainemomguide on Instagram for the lineup.
- Face painting
- Hands-on activities and demos from local kid-friendly businesses
- Bounce houses from The Point, plus their indoor playground
- Kids' Pick Awards early voting: grab a ballot and cast your early votes in person
Why pre-register?
We cap pre-registration only because we can guarantee a set number of totes. Walk-ins are always welcome, even if pre-registration fills up.
- Express line at the welcome table
- A free tote for each registered kid, held for you until 11:30 AM. Kids must be there to pick up their tote.
- Giveaway entry for prizes from local favorites. Only pre-registered families are entered, one entry per family. Pre-registration closes January 29 or when spots run out. Be sure to check in when you arrive to be included. We'll email the winner the week after the event.
Walking in?
Walk-ins are always welcome. Scan the QR code at the welcome table to register in under a minute. Totes for walk-ins while supplies last. Walk-ins and day-of registrations are not entered in the giveaway.
Good to know
- All kids must be supervised by an adult at all times. This is not a drop-off event.
- Lost your grown-up? Our welcome table is the meeting spot.
