Join Kate with Wicked Sweets by Kate on Saturday 11/7 from 2pm-4pm to learn how to make a magical fairy garden cake! This class is kid friendly, however ages 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult helper. The adult helper does not need a separate ticket!Kate will walk through step by step how to stack, fill, crumb coat, and decorate a 6" round two layer vanilla cake. Class will cover:
-Placing the cake on a cake board
-Crumb coating the cake
-Coloring buttercream frosting
-Filling piping bags
-Piping techniques for the final tree design and for embellishing the cake
-Adding details/edible glitter (optional)
-Boxing the cake for transport home
All materials and supplies will be provided! Participants will leave with their boxed/decorated 6' cake, a set of piping tips/couplers used in class, and a set of cake scraper tools. Sign up deadline: Sunday 11/1 at 9pm.
