On Thursday evening, October 15th, Hope is hosting a free Alaskan salmon dinner! Invite your family, friends, and neighbors! We need a headcount, so please RSVP. We will also have grilled chicken and plenty of sides for those who don't like salmon. This is a fundraiser for KICY, a Christian radio station in Nome, Alaska. It's owned by Arctic Broadcasting Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit, affiliated corporation of the Evangelical Covenant Church.KICY serves native Alaskan villages throughout the Seward Peninsula, Yukon & Kuskokwim Deltas and the Russian regions of Chukotka, Kamchatka and Siberia. Most of their annual operating budget comes from churches and individual donations.
Since they first signed-on Easter Sunday, April 17 of 1960, KICY has continued to broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ throughout Western Alaska and the Russian Far East. They operate two distinct radio stations, KICY AM-850 & ICY 100.3 FM.
Visit kicy.org to learn more! RSVP here if you can come!
