We’d love to invite you to the first concert in a new series we call Gifts.
In contrast to our recent concert projects, bold and sweeping, Gifts is a celebration of where we are now, and the humble music that has emerged from our monthly rehearsal ritual this year.
Join us for a short, sweet set at our home, the Church of St. Anthony in Soho, on Saturday, October 10th, at 7:30 p.m. Please register so we know you’re coming, but our performance is free. And we do mean short — just under 40 minutes of music.
Each of these pieces is a gift. Our own edition of Josquin des Prez’ O Virgo Virginum, neo-trobairitz music by Hai-Ting Chinn, and a short cycle of new music we conceived for our April performance at the Guggenheim, culminating in our friend Charlotte Greve’s Continuing. We’d love for you to hear it especially if you missed our premiere earlier this year.
