***This is a LIVE, ONLINE TALK given to people who are in-person at the Vajra Vidya Portland shrine room***
Vajra Vidya Portland is located on the second floor of the State Street Church (entrance through the courtyard).
All are welcome!
The Vajradhara Lineage Prayer is regularly recited at Kagyu Buddhist centers because it invokes an unbroken spiritual transmission and provides pith instructions for the practice of Mahamudra.
Khenchen Lobzang Tenzin Rinpoche is the spiritual director of Vajra Vidya Retreat Center in Crestone, Colorado, established by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. Born in Bhutan to Tibetan parents,
Khenpo Lobzang grew up beside Thrangu Monastery. He entered the monastery at age 9, then trained in Nepal, and later received full ordination from Thrangu Rinpoche. He completed monastic college with distinction and was appointed Khenpo (teacher/preceptor). In 2004 Thrangu Rinpoche appointed him principal professor and director of Vajra Vidya Institute, his monastic college with locations in Nepal and India. Khenpo Lobzang has been teaching at Vajra Vidya Crestone since 2013.
There is no charge for this live Buddhist teaching. Donations to Vajra Vidya Portland are gratefully accepted.
