This term will cover the following areas:Maths 12.30 – 1.30
This block will look at Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division before moving on to Percentages and Decimals. After some fun starter activities, mental maths work and initial input, each participant will work independently, using the relevant “Understanding Maths” workbook from Schofield and Sims.
English 1.30 - 2.30
We will be working on grammar through diagramming. Punctuation and spelling rules will be introduced along the way and dictation will be used to reinforce these skills. Reading comprehension will look at both fiction and non-fiction texts and there is additional work available in the book to complete between sessions if you want to.

You will need to buy the relevant text/workbooks. You will also need to provide an A4 ring binder, dividers and lined paper for English.
