Celebrate 20 years of the KP Farm Tour. Visit local farms, meet farmers, and enjoy community events across the Key Peninsula.
About this Event

What began as a small, grassroots effort has grown into a unique, self-guided farm tour featuring approximately five farms across the peninsula. From lavender at Astrid’s and flowers at Moon Mountain to horses at Grand Farm, each stop offers a glimpse into local agriculture and rural life. As you head south, you’ll pass Food 4 All’s Gardens along KP Hwy, visit the Longbranch Homestead Collective, and end among the rolling green hills at Kaukiki Farm.

🌿 What to Expect
  • A self-guided tour of working farms across the Key Peninsula
  • Opportunities to meet farmers and learn about agriculture and homesteading
  • Scenic drives with stops throughout the community
  • Family-friendly experiences at each location

🧑‍🌾 Community Experiences

In addition to farm visits, enjoy:

  • Fiber Arts Festival at the Longbranch Improvement Club (craft vendors, food, and live music)
  • Apple Cider Squeeze at Gateway Park, featuring fresh cider, apple fritters, and seasonal treats

🚌 Transportation Options

Shuttle buses (donated by the Mustard Seed Project) will run:

  • North Route: From Gateway Park
  • South Route: From Red Barn Youth Center

You can also drive yourself and start from either the north or south end of the peninsula.

🌱 A Growing Mission

As the event celebrates its 20th anniversary, the organizing group has evolved into the Key Peninsula Farm Collective, expanding its mission to support local agriculture, homesteading, and food security year-round.

“The Key Peninsula Farm Collective is more than just an event... we are excited to be evolving into a collaborative effort, supporting farms and homesteading efforts and encouraging food security on the Key Peninsula.”
— Christie Tackett, Director, KP Farm Collective
