Professor Muhammad Kamaldeen Essanake Alalikinla Ayara Al-adabiy, which everybody knows as (ALPHA OLOKO ALPHA AGBA)Biography / السيرة الذاتية
Professor Muhammad Kamaldeen Essanake Alalikinla Ayara Al-adabiy, which everybody knows as (ALPHA OLOKO ALPHA AGBA), was born on May 5, 1985, at Ile Alalikinla, Isale Bonni Alore, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. His father, Jimoh Akanbi Omo Owo Jimoh Gbede, and his mother, Ayelagbe, nurtured him in his early years.
From the age of three, he began his Arabic education under his elder brother, completing the first stage of Tira (Qoidatu Baghadi) by age five. His elder brother guided him with patience and wisdom, instilling discipline and a love for learning.
After the passing of his father, life became challenging. From age nine, Professor Muhammad Kamaldeen Essanake Alalikinla Ayara Al-adabiy (ALPHA OLOKO ALPHA AGBA) faced hardships and had to survive on his own. During this period, he worked as a fisherman, hunter, and laborer, providing for himself, while his mother moved to Lagos to support his education.
At the age of seventeen, he reunited with his siblings under his first-born brother, Abdullahi bn Jumu’at, and moved to Obaloyan Owu, Omupo, Ilorin, where he completed his primary education. Afterward, his second brother, Daud bn Jumu’at, enrolled him at Mount Camel College for junior secondary education. During this time, he also studied Arabic under the Amadiyah group, completing the Qur’an under the guidance of Babatunde Abu Ruqoyat, a respected Tijaniyah teacher.
Following a profound dream experienced by his mother, he was guided to Sheikh Abdul-Mumin Anafi Yusuf Ayara Al-adabiy on Wednesday, February 3, 2003, where he began an intensive period of spiritual and academic growth. Under Sheikh Abdul-Mumin, Professor Muhammad Kamaldeen Essanake Alalikinla Ayara Al-adabiy (ALPHA OLOKO ALPHA AGBA) received the honor of Alpha Oloko, symbolizing his spiritual elevation and close mentorship.
During his studies, he was sent to assist Sheikh Abdul-Rouf Baba Tunde (Alpha Areikanna), a senior teacher and family friend, for almost three years. He learned advanced spiritual practices, sermon delivery, and Jan Nasi. Sheikh Abdul-Rouf treated him like a brother, and this guidance deeply shaped his personal, spiritual, and moral development.
He also trained under Sheikh Abdul-Rahaman As-Salimon, the Qodirayah spiritual leader and grandson of the founder of Ansorul Islam Society of Nigeria, and was formally recognized as a Qodirayah leader in 2009.
