Nashville singer-songwriter Kevin Montgomery returns to The Greys for an evening of music and laughter. His longtime sidekick, Johnny Mackinnon, will join on piano and vocals and the superlative, Scott Poley, joins on guitar and pedal steel.
This will be an intimate evening and will delve into some of the songs often missed without the presence of steel and will feature songs from the forthcoming record.
Montgomery’s mom sang with Elvis and Dad wrote songs like “Heartbeat” for Buddy Holly, and was his first musical partner. Montgomery has written songs for Juice Newton, Martina McBride, Beth Neilsen Chapman, and Graham Gouldman of 10cc, and sung on Lee Ann Womack records. He is a hardcore troubodour and completed four 50 States in 50 Days tours.
