About the Venue and Your Host: After four long years, Shakespeares Lower Level is the official home of Professional Comedy in Kalamazoo! We are eager and excited to bring more household names to our town in 2025 and beyond!
Hosted By Shakespeare's very own, Bob Fredericks:
Originally the host of Standup or Shut up at the Lower Level Bob has worked with many world class comedians and top clubs throughout the Midwest. Organizing and producing shows at Shakespeare's since 2012 Bob is so very excited to bring comedy back to the Lower Level post apocalypse. Now a Single Dad, Bob relates to his audience with an absurdity in his observations that are off the wall, self deprecating and endearing. He loves to tell stories and make people laugh. During the pandemic he took on content creation, growing an audience around the world. Now he is ready to bring world class comedy back to Kalamazoo once again!
