Don’t Miss Kenya’s Soul: The Musical — A Collegiate World Premiere!
Be among the first audiences to experience Kenya’s Soul: The Musical, an original new musical making its Collegiate World Premiere at Morgan State University.
Written by Dr. Tyrone Stanley, Kenya’s Soul is a powerful story of family, identity, legacy, love, betrayal, and reclamation. Moving between Brooklyn and the African continent, the musical follows Kenya Mugabo as she returns to the powerful family that once pushed her away—and begins a journey to uncover buried truths, confront the past, and reclaim the future that belongs to her.
Featuring an electrifying original score, dynamic movement, vibrant cultural influences, and the extraordinary talents of Morgan State University’s Musical Theatre artists, Kenya’s Soul is more than a musical—it is a celebration of Black storytelling, ancestry, resilience, and the power of finding your voice.
Come witness the beginning of a new musical and experience a story filled with heart, rhythm, revelation, and a whole lot of soul.
This is the premiere. This is the moment. Experience Kenya’s Soul.
