🇰🇪 Walk for Menstrual Dignity 2026 🇰🇪
Join us on Saturday, 3 October, at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi for an inspiring day of community, purpose, and fun!
Our main walk will cover 10 kilometres, and everyone is welcome, regardless of age or fitness level. Bring your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbours as we walk together to support a future where every girl and woman can manage her period with dignity.
Why We Walk
This event raises both awareness and funds for the launch of the Pad Pantry this November.
The Pad Pantry is a converted shipping container designed to provide women and girls with access to:
Menstrual products
Health and hygiene education
Wellness resources and support
By increasing access to these essential resources, we can help girls stay in school, women remain active at work, and communities thrive with greater dignity, hope, and opportunity.
About the Pad Pantry
The Pad Pantry is an initiative of Born to Be Awesome Organization and Wandering Women International. Together, we are working to promote menstrual dignity by ensuring that girls and women, especially those in vulnerable communities, have reliable access to sanitary pads, menstrual health information, and other essential products.
Our vision is to grow the Pad Pantry into a sustainable national program that partners with schools, communities, sponsors, and stakeholders across Kenya to support menstrual health and dignity for all.
Did You Know?
Millions of women and girls around the world still face challenges accessing menstrual products and accurate health information. In Kenya, 65% of women and girls cannot afford sanitary products, affecting their education, confidence, and future opportunities. We need to change this story.
