Hi there Wonderful People,
We are going to be mulching and rocken to beautyfi and reinforce some eroding/washed out areas around the tee pads and fairways. As well as trash pickup.
This is a coordinated event with our friends at Raleigh Parks and REC for Friday 11.13.26 9am to 11am. Here is the registration and event details link.
The city wants at least 10 registered volunteers prior to committing the staff for the event, so please register if you think you can come help for a little, any help would be appreciated.

Immediately, after the event KWDGC will provide free pizza and beverages for all volunteers at the pavilion. Depending on turnout we may play a free entry round of Metal Mulligan Mayham Madness for the volunteers with a payout. Yes the new format has a system for earning Mulligans! Muhahaha.
If you love Kentwood, wish to see it well tended for, and want a chance to hang out with some other great and wonderful people*, please come out and show your support.
(*the term great and wonderful people is highly subjective and may be biased towards disc golf hooligans:))
If the event registration happens to fill up online, there is really unlimited signup ability in person, just message the page and say you are coming, or you can also just show up day of, you just need to sign the city waiver upon arrival. We are only really limited by the number of wheelbarrows, but swapping fresh legs for trips up the hills would be welcome.
