Kentucky Speed Thoroughbred Classic 2026. Thanksgiving weekend. "Racing Is in Our Blood!"Thanksgiving weekend in Lexington, Kentucky. The Kentucky Thoroughbred Classic brings together hundreds of athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families from across the United States for four exciting days of world-class competition.
More than just a race, the Kentucky Thoroughbred Classic has become a Thanksgiving tradition. Athletes spend the entire year preparing to compete at this prestigious Championship, creating an atmosphere of excitement, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories.
One of the highlights of our event is our annual homemade Thanksgiving Dinner. Every Thanksgiving Day, we prepare and serve a complete holiday meal for more than 300 athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and family members who are spending the holiday away from home. It is our way of welcoming every competitor into our Kentucky family.
Throughout the weekend, competitors race for Championship Rings, cash prizes, and special awards. Every race winner is recognized in our Winner's Circle, where they spin our sponsor prize wheel to receive gifts generously donated by local businesses and community partners.
