Walk and Talk with two of the main contributors to ‘Keeping the Stories Alive’ exhibition currently on at Tolbooth Gallery until the 28th September.
David Meldrum Lowe author of the social history and who’s who book 'Keeping the Stories Alive: Stirlingshire & Clackmannanshire Entertainers & Venues Pre-1950s to 1989’ which the show takes its title from. He will focus on some of the material dedicated to the entertainers who gave so much for so little reward and who brought joy to so many. Stretching from Stirling to Sauchie, Falkirk to Fishcross, Denny to Dunblane, Kilsyth to Coalsnaughton and even Alloa!
Alongside Billy McChord, musician, mover and shaker and band member of 22 Beaches, who will give some insights into the Stirling punk and post punk scenes relating to the zines, gig posters and other material in the exhibition.

'Keeping the Stories Alive' and ' What Presence: The Music Photography of Harry Papadopoulos' exhibitions will be open until 28th September, 2024
