Accessibility
The area around the new visitor centre and main path down to the pond dipping platform has accessible surfaces, whilst other footpaths around the site are surfaced in woodchip. The visitor centre is fully accessible, including an accessible toilet. There are steep steps with handrails at the southern end of the site lead to the viewpoint on the canal. We can create a fully step-free route around the reserve.
If you have any questions about accessibility, please get in touch with us at [email protected]
The delivery of the Keeping it Wild Collective is made possible by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
Meet our session leader…
Leo Hall-Howl
Hi, my name is Leo! I am a recent London Wildlife Trust trainee and still work for the Wildlife Trust here and there in different roles :)
I have been involved in photography from a young age seeing my dad try to photograph birds (and end up being specks in the distance), and my mum photographing historic stones 😂
I now enjoy trying to photograph as much of a range of wildlife as I can - last year I visited Yorkshire to see gannets and puffins which was amazing! But I love all the wonderful green spaces here in London which are host to a fantastic range themselves.
