WINTER SOLSTICE SOUND SANCTUARYKeele Chapel
90 minutes of deep rest, stillness & regulation
As we reach the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — nature invites us to slow down, turn inward and rest.
Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Keele Chapel for a special 90-minute Winter Solstice Sound Sanctuary, created as a space to step away from the busyness of everyday life and sink into deep rest at one of the most naturally reflective points of the year.
Surrounded by the peaceful acoustics of the chapel, you'll be immersed in the therapeutic vibrations of gongs, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, drums and other carefully selected instruments.
There is nothing you need to do.
Simply lie down, get warm and comfortable, close your eyes and allow yourself to receive.
As layers of sound move through the space, you're invited to soften out of the constant doing of everyday life and into a quieter state of simply being — allowing the body and nervous system time to settle, regulate and restore.
The Winter Solstice marks the deepest point of winter and the gradual return of the light. A beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect and create a little space before moving into a new season and a new year.
This experience may help to:
