KCL ISOC's ARK Year 12 Medical + Dental Taster Day
Come join us for a fun and interactive day at King's College London! This event is specifically designed for Year 12 students interested in pursuing a career in medicine or dentistry, as form of work experience. Get hands-on experience, learn from professionals, and explore the world of medicine in a unique way at Guy's Campus.
You will have a taster day of learning skills like suturing, basic life support, tooth morphology, and talking to current Doctors and Dentists! All important skills to help you apply to medical school!
Spaces are very limited and this event is solely for students from widening participation (WP) backgrounds. If you are not WP, your ticket will be cancelled!
Examples of WP include but aren't limited to eligibility for free school meals or receipt of financial support like bursaries, coming from a low socioeconomic background, or attending schools with low average attainment or low progression rates to higher education or non-selective state education, Care Leaver or Looked-After Child Status)
