🎬 THE PORTMANTEAU PROJECT: PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE 👽The classic cult film reimagined!
KC Fringe and the Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City are teaming up for a one-of-a-kind cinematic experiment: The Portmanteau Project: Plan 9 From Outer Space!
Ed Wood’s famously beloved “classic” gets a brand-new life as multiple teams of independent Kansas City filmmakers take on scenes from Plan 9 From Outer Space*and recreate them in the style of their choosing.
Horror? Comedy? Drama? Sci-fi? Something that defies categorization entirely? Each team has been given the creative freedom to make the material their own.
The result is a surprising, imaginative, wildly creative, and completely unique out-of-this-world feature film.
One movie. Multiple filmmaking teams. Infinite possibilities.
Come see what happens when Kansas City’s independent filmmakers get their hands on one of cinema’s most infamous movies.
