Kayak Bus
Go with the flow. Kayak Bus is a one-way trip from Greenwich all the way to West London. A 100% sightseeing trip, passing all of London's top landmarks, easily viewed from the seat of a kayak. Passing The Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Bankside and the Globe, St Paul's, South Bank, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Lambeth Palace, MI6 and many other landmarks. Journey time is a good 3 hours, is with the tidal flow making the trip suitable for all abilities including complete beginners, if you never have paddled a kayak have a look below for more info.
The trip is for adults only. London Kayak Company is a professional outfit and fully compliant to operate within the Port of London.

Where does the event start and finish?
We will meet you at the unit's address: 8 Springham Walk, SE10 0YP, and launch from the beach. The easiest way to find us is to follow the river. We are about a 12-minute walk east of The Old Naval College in Greenwich or a 25-minute walk west of The Jubilee Line at Greenwich North. Plan your route, your trip will finish in Battersea next to St Mary's, Church SW11 3N
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring comfortable clothes to paddle in, dress for the weather including a pair of training shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Bring a light snack to keep your energy levels up and a bottle of water to stay hydrated. We supply all equipment including good quality waterproofs. Also, bring a complete change of clothes. You have a baggage allowance of 25 litres per person ( small rucksack or carry bag), your bags will go inside a watertight compartment in the kayak and stays 100% dry. Bags must be compressible. no suitcases

If you are a complete beginner?
If you are a complete beginner, note that this is a physical activity similar to going for a long brisk walk. Although you are with the tidal flow, you will be required to paddle your kayak and work with your paddling partner. Things that will help you arrive at the launch in plenty of time, so we can spend some extra time with you, eat in advance so you have decent energy levels and have a positive attitude.
