"Rediscover Poetry Through Music"
First time ever kind of show in Surat.
Kavyaraag - Mehfil , Where Poetry meets Music.
Some poems are meant to be heard, not just read. Kavyaraag brings the oral tradition of Indian poetry back to life through music, with songs based on the words of Kabir, Meera, Javed Akhtar, Dushyant Kumar, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Kavi Niraj, Swanand Kirkire and many others. Loved at major literature and music festivals across India, it now comes to Surat for one unforgettable evening.
Chinmayi Tripathi is a Hindustani classical vocalist and poet. Her poetry collection Apni Kahi received the Amar Ujala Samman.
Joell Mukherjii is a composer trained in western classical music, with 300+ ad jingles to his name.
Come, listen, and fall in love with poetry again.
Witness the magic!
