Event Details
The Kappa Alpha Independence Golf Scramble will take place at Kearney Hills Golf Course,
3403 Kearney Road, Lexington, KY 40511, on Saturday, October 3rd.
The cost per team is $600. The Golf Scramble will have 4 individuals per team. Teams with fewer than 4 players may still participate; however, they must pay the full team entry fee, and players are not permitted to hit multiple shots to compensate for a missing teammate. Teams will register their team under a single member who will pay the full amount of the team. The name of the cardholder associated with the team member who registers the team will be the name used to identify your team at check-in.
- All Teams must be registered and paid by September 23rd to compete
- Check-In: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
- All teams must be registered, paid, and present by 8:45 AM.
- Teams arriving after 8:45 AM will not be allowed to compete.
- At 8:50 AM, teams will be sent to their assigned starting holes for a shotgun start.
- Shotgun start promptly at 9:00 AM
Teams will complete the round and return their scorecards to the clubhouse upon finishing.
Post-Tournament Dinner & Activities
A catered lunch will follow the event beginning at 1:00 PM in the Banquet Hall featuring:
- Announcement of tournament winners
- Presentation of Team and Individual Prizes
- Distribution of each team's complimentary Bourbon Basket
- Additional activities and acknowledgments
All those who wish to attend the dinner without participating in the event, dinner tickets will be listed at $40.
All scramble participants are encouraged to attend the dinner, though attendance is not required
