📣 KANSAS IS NOT YOUR KINGDOM - EVENT UPDATE📅 Monday, October 19
📍 Near Heartland Credit Union Arena, Park City
⏳ Exact protest location, gathering time, and parking details are still awaiting confirmation.
We have been advised that a designated protest area is planned off arena property, which is private property. We will update this event as soon as the location and access details are confirmed.
🚗 PARKING IS STILL UNCONFIRMED
We do not yet know whether protesters or people without rally tickets will be admitted into the arena parking lot - including those planning to protest before attending the rally.
DO NOT park - or direct others to park - along the arena entrance drive, area businesses without permission, on highway ramps or shoulders, or anywhere parking would normally be prohibited. Keep roads, entrances, and emergency access clear.
🔎 PLEASE SHARE CONFIRMED INFORMATION
We know everyone is eager to make plans. Please be patient and avoid passing along rumors, guesses, or “I heard” information as fact. Check this event for confirmed updates before heading out.
☮️ PEACEFUL. NONVIOLENT. NOT QUIET.
Bring your signs, your voices, your chants, and even your songs. We’re showing up to speak out and stand together. We are not going with the intention of provoking confrontations or creating problems.
If someone tries to rile you up, don’t take the bait. Disengage, give yourself space, and look out for one another.
🤝 We may have different reasons for standing up and speaking out, but we are united in our resolve to defend our democracy through all kinds of good trouble. This is an opportunity to remind our community, our neighbors, and ourselves that we are not alone.
Kansas is not Trump’s territory, and it is certainly not his kingdom.
📢 Bring your signs. Speak your mind. Stay calm. Stay loud. Let’s represent Kansas like the good troublemakers we are! 💪

Trump is coming to Wichita to rally for Roger Marshall on Monday, October 19. We’ll be there with a reminder: Kansas belongs to the people. Our elected officials serve us, and our democracy demands accountability- not loyalty to a wannabe king.
Join DDICT to stand for democracy, equal rights, and a government that answers to the people.
📅 Monday, October 19
📍 Protest location: TBD — Wichita
🕒 Protest time: TBD. Once we have official details we'll share a gathering location but we imagine people will begin gathering early. Some will stay for the duration, others will have limited time available.
The Trump rally opens its doors at 2:30 PM, with the program beginning at 4:30 PM and Trump’s remarks scheduled for 6:00 PM. The rally venue has not yet been announced. Our protest location and gathering time will be shared as details are confirmed.
We want to be VERY clear so everyone understands this gathering has no intention of getting near Trump or protesting inside whatever venue it turns out to be. We will - as we have in the past - stage outside the venue on public property, in a peaceful (not quiet) and non-violent manner.
All DDICT gatherings are peaceful and nonviolent. Bring your signs, voices, and energy. No weapons, threats, harassment, or physical confrontations. Do not engage with anyone trying to provoke a reaction. Keep sidewalks and entrances accessible, and look out for one another.
Show up. Speak out. Then carry that energy to the ballot box.
Kansas isn’t your kingdom. And we don’t bow.
Follow this page and the event for updates.
