Over 30 Years of Music, Culture & Community- Celebrate a KC legacy that began in 1989, when Friends of Reggae International hosted the city's first Reggae & World Music Festival at Volker Park.
That historic event drew 30,000+ people and featured icons like Lucky Dube, Fela Kuti, Jimmy Cliff, and Richie Havens. Since then, over 500,000 attendees have joined in the rhythm of love, pride, and unity.
This year, experience three unforgettable days of music, flavor, and cultural celebration—right on the banks of the Missouri River.
