Kana Hishiya was born and raised in Japan and is\based in Los Angeles. Music has been a part of every\
chapter of her life, starting with jazz piano training in\
childhood, influenced by her jazz drummer father. In her\
teens, she got into hip-hop and reggae, both of which\
remain core influences in her sound. In 2026, she is a\
resident DJ at Dialogue, one of LA’s established\
underground parties, and its first female resident. She\
has performed across cities and countries.\
\
She plays a wide range of electronic music across\
house, techno, electro, and breaks - genre is not what\
defines her style. She is known for her dynamic range\
that takes twists and turns. Kana guides listeners\
through full spectrum sound journeys — timeless,\
forward-thinking, and entirely her own guided by sense\
of time and place\
\
Joining her is one of our favorite DJs and catalyst of two of our favorite SLC parties: Matthew Fit. His sets are unskippable, any time he’s playing in the city, you should see him.\

We are excited to dance with you.\
