Join us for our final Northern Devon Kailo event!
Kailo has been working in Northern Devon for the past 5 years with young people and communities to understand and address the challenges that young people face in relation to their mental health.
Early on, we heard that two of the main challenges facing young people were:
- Youth Employment, and
- Mental health literacy and support, particularly for neurodivergent young people.
This event is designed and led by a group of young people who have been involved in Kailo, and will be an opportunity for listening, learning, and action planning to ensure young people’s voices are central to change in Northern Devon going forwards.
Through the event you will hear about all of the learning and ideas that have been generated with young people to support the system to improve, as well as have the opportunity to come together with young people and other professionals to consider how we can continue to improve the lives of young people in Northern Devon.
If you are a young person, professional working with young people and communities, in education, you are someone who is making decisions at a system level regarding young people, employment, mental health, or you are an employer who employs young people, we would love for you to join us!
We are hoping to bring a diverse range of attendees together; we all need to play a role in re-thinking how we can better support young people in Northern Devon to thrive.
