About this Event
You’d never pay cash for your house. So why fund retirement entirely on your own?
Your parents’ generation often worked for one company for thirty years. The company paid them a pension, and Social Security covered the rest.
Most employers have walked away from that deal. Today, the pension is you. Your 401(k), your savings and your plan are funded entirely by you.
Why plan for this now
Americans hold more than $51 trillion in retirement accounts, and Congress writes the tax rules on every dollar. Congress has changed those rules several times in recent years, from ending the stretch IRA for most heirs to requiring high earners’ catch-up contributions to go Roth. If you’re in your 30s or 40s, you’ll retire under tax rules nobody has written yet.
High earners who plan well build a wealth stack. A stack might include a 401(k) and IRA, a Roth, an HSA, deferred comp, real estate, stock options, a business, and whole life or an IUL. They understand every lever they have and how the pieces work together.
One lever most high earners have never heard of
Kai-Zen is a retirement leverage strategy that pairs your contributions with bank financing. Many people already use leverage for a home or a business. Kai-Zen applies the same thinking to retirement.
What Jared covers
- How the bank financing works, and what you are and aren’t responsible for
- Who Kai-Zen fits, and who it doesn’t
- How it compares to funding a policy on your own
- Where it can sit alongside your 401(k) and the rest of your stack
- Your own questions, answered in the room
Who it’s for
Jared designed this evening for people who already own whole life or an IUL, and for high earners ($300k+) in their 30s and 40s who are serious about building more for retirement. Bring your spouse or partner. Couples usually get the most out of it.
Live in Westchester but work in Midtown? Either night works. Pick the one that fits your week.
Why come
Jared is there to educate. You’ll leave knowing whether Kai-Zen is right for you or it isn’t. Either way, you’ll know.
