📍Central Library Saari, Event space Laituri (1st floor) Join Ghanaian American author Kai Alonté for a reading and Q&A about her debut novel, Somewhere Soft to Land.
Through the story of Dzifa, a sharply observant young woman who feels perpetually 'other', the book explores the tension between authenticity and belonging, and the impact of sisterhood and motherhood.
Kai will read a short excerpt and share about her experience completing Somewhere Soft to Land in Finland, which has become her home in recent years. Learn more about the book at studio-kai.art.
The event will be held in English and is open to everyone. Welcome!
