In K9 Nose Work®1 (Interiors/Containers), we capitalize on your dog’s natural ability to hunt for and locate high value food or toys. As your dog learns to seek out their hidden quarry confidently and independently, you learn to read their body language quickly and accurately. K9 Nose Work® is an activity for ALL dogs and super ideal for dogs needing more confidence, convalescing or disabled dogs, senior dog, and busy dogs that need a job. K9 Nose Work® is also appropriate for dogs who struggle being around other dogs, as searches are individual and dogs will be crated between searches. Please note that this group class is not appropriate for human reactive dogs but individual, virtual coaching is available to get your dog started on their scenting journey. There is a maximum of 6 teams of handlers and dogs per class, which allows for individual instruction and downtime for the dogs (scentwork is demanding).
