What am I signing up for??? 😎
💪 Sat 10/10 12:00 - 13:30: Connection+ Musicality
This workshop is centered around one of Zouk’s core concepts - Connection.
Learn to be comfortable in your own space and share this with your partner, to be in the moment, to move as one with the music.
💪 Sat 10/10 14:30 - 16:00: Boneca + Tilted Turns
This workshop is a deep dive into another one of Zouk’s core concepts - Off-axis movements AKA Boneca!
Explore your body, how it feels to move through movements off axis and how to optimise comfort and control in both stationary and dynamic movements (ie tilted turns).
💪 Sun 11/10 12:00 - 13:30: Advance Zouk Concepts
This workshop is centered around deepening our understanding of Zouk and how we can improve our social dancing by advancing how we utilise our fundamentals to encourage creativity and flow through continuous movements.
💪 Sun 11/10 14:30 - 16:00: Zouk Practica!
Have you ever wanted to learn some of your favourite artist’s iconic movements but have never had the chance to work them out with your fellow dancers? Have you been inspired by a movement you have seen, tried to learn but can’t seem to identify how to optimise it? 🤓
This practica is intended to be a safe space with your fellow dancers try out movements you may have never been confident to try in socials under the supervision of some of your local community leaders
