The wait is almost over... Just Dance will soon be back! We can’t wait to reconnect with our incredible Just Dancers community, the movement, the music and the magic we all create together. Come reconnect, let go, and launch this new season together!We will be kicking off Season 32 with a night of deep grooves, rising energy with two of the finest Global Fusion DJs.
DJ Abheeru opens the floor with an eclectic sonic tapestry that moves between earthy percussion, infectious rhythms, powerful bass, and intricate melodies. Expect the energy to build gradually, inviting the body to warm up and open up in its very own expression.
Then DJ Ash steps in to carry the energy forward. A longtime Just Dance favourite, he will be taking us deeper into the night bringing his signature blend of organic and electronic frequencies while offering us a brand new sound. With a keen sense of the dancefloor and an instinct for creating moments of collective energy, he’ll shape the journey through peaks, valleys, release, and celebration.
Two distinct musical voices. One shared intention: to create a dancefloor where we can move freely, connect deeply, and lose ourselves in the music.
Lush radiant visuals will be crafted live by the talented VJ Kashub.
Cacao bar will be open! Delicious drinks and edibles provided by Heart of the Earth Cacao.

For the last 7 YEARS, we made every effort to keep our door price at $20. This has meant absorbing the increases of all our operating costs. But we are now at a point where raising admission to $25 is necessary.

As a twice a month event, many of our regulars do not RSVP on FB. As such, attendance is consistently much higher than what is reflected on the FB event page.
Just Dance is a nonprofit organization that thrives because of our volunteers. Helping for only 45 minutes gets you in for free and connects you with our other volunteers and core team.

DJ Ash, aka Ashkan, was born in Tehran yet feels a deep connection with the west coast of North America. He has traveled and played around the world, developing a unique niche and collecting traditional and electronic ritual music for sharing with diverse dance floors and intentional gatherings. Ashkan connects deeply with music and dance and sees himself as being in co-creation with the dancers. His offering is one of shamanic tribal fusion for creating a mystical, sacred experience on the dance floor. When not performing, he can be found working on music in his studio, aptly named “The Portal”.

Abheeru has cultivated a profound and rapturous relationship to Global Fusion music, DJing, community service and dancing. He has produced, promoted and DJed more than 600 events for over 55,000 dancers, all in the spirit of service as he has always wanted for JD to donate all of its proceeds to local charities and nonprofit groups. For over three decades, he has continued to innovate, inspire and promote new musical concepts for the Vancouver dance community.
As a DJ, Abheeru is known for taping into an extensive palette of genres and styles from far-reaching locations around the world. His main passion is to infuse and mix a wide-range of musical organic elements and instruments from many diverse cultures and to blend those with delectable modern dance beats. The results are exquisitely creative dance sets that will keep your dancing soul and shoes happy.
ABOUT JUST DANCE
Just Dance is a positive party community event. It offers a unique opportunity to dance to an eclectic selection of music from around the world. Held twice a month, Just Dance can be described as a refreshing alternative to the bar and club scene. It is a place where you are free to be yourself, connect with a vibrant community and dance the way you want!
