Junior Ranger Explorer Walk (Free Family Event – Bookings Required)
Join your Auckland Parks Ranger for a fun, hands-on nature adventure for the whole family! Kids can explore and learn while becoming Junior Rangers.
Who:
Children aged 6–12
Must attend with a parent/guardian (18+)
Activities may include:
Bug hunts
Nature treasure hunts
W**d warriors & pest detectives
Native plant discovery
This event is FREE, but bookings are essential – spaces are limited.

Important:
This is a family event. Parents/caregivers must stay and supervise children at all times.
H&S and Parking
If you or your child has a fear of birds this may not be the right event for you - there are a lot of large birds around that are very used to human presence so can come closer than normal.
Please allow time to find suitable parking for this event, there are both paid and free parking options nearby, but you may need more time to walk to the starting point.
