ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
SAKURA: Sakura is a jazz-pop vocalist and songwriter from Toronto, ON. Her influences span all the way from Ella Fitzgerald to Laufey and she is alumni of the Rosedale School of the Arts as well as The Railpath Arts Centre in Roncesvalles. In addition to singing, Sakura is also an a theatre/film actor.
YSI: Ysi (pronounced Ee-See) is a singer and songwriter from Aurora, ON and is known for her electrifying rock vocals and edgy songwriting. At just 19, Ysi has already performed at numerous festivals in Ontario and is a promising artist to keep your eye on.
SOPHIE TEX: At just 16, Sophie Tex is an emerging hometown talent on the Toronto scene. Sophie has studied the arts her entire life - dancing, singing and acting in many productions. Now coming into her own as a singer and songwriter with a dark pop style, she is set to release her first EP later this year. She also posts cover songs regularly to her ever-growing fanbase on both Instagram and TikTok.
KATIE ANSTEY: Kate Anstey is a 21 year pop singer/songwriter and dancer from St. John's Newfoundland. Recently she released her first single, "Seventeen" to streaming platforms where it was quickly added to numerous playlists and has hit nearly 18,000 spins just on Spotify. Watch out for her next release, "Not That Serious" coming out in March of this year.
PHOENIX: Phoenix is a local highschool student and aspiring singer-songwriter. Heavily influenced by the classics, ranging from Stevie Nicks to Patsy Cline, Phoenix has a timeless vocal sound to match.
