We have a few places left for our new course Judo For Stunts next Saturday 17th October. The day brings together judoka interested in a very different, no gi, context for their techniques and stunt actors and trainees wanting to learn safe falling, judo and wider skills.There’s clear parallels between the choreography of a film fight and a kata and it’s great to try a new application for our techniques!
The day is hosted at St Albans Judo Club and run by qualified judo coaches together with highly experienced stunt professionals led by Tom Paredes (James Bond, Batman, Mission Impossible amongst a long list of films)
As well as enjoying something a bit different on the mat, you’ll leave with a video of your very own choreographed fight. There was a fantastic energy at our pilot event, this one should be a great day!
